How much does a POS system from Kelly Studio cost?
RM250 one-off to set up, then RM100 a month. The monthly fee covers the software, updates and support. If you need hardware such as a card terminal or receipt printer, we quote for it separately.
How quickly can I be up and running?
Usually the next day. Once we have your menu or product list, we set up your till, load your items and train your staff. If you need a website as well, we start straight away and move as fast as your content allows.
Does the POS keep working if the internet goes down?
Yes. Sales are saved on the till itself, so you can keep serving customers and printing receipts during an outage. Everything syncs to your dashboard automatically when the connection comes back. Card payments still need their own connection.
Which card terminals do you work with?
We work with Fiuu card terminals. Card, cash and QR payments are all recorded on the same till, so your end-of-day totals match.
Do you handle MyInvois e-invoicing?
Not built in yet. Many small businesses do not need it yet: businesses with annual turnover under RM1 million are exempt, and businesses between RM1 million and RM5 million came in from 1 January 2026. We will tell you honestly whether it applies to you, and help you plan for it if it does.
Can you move my data over from my current POS?
Usually, yes. If your current system can export your product list, customers and sales history (most can, as a spreadsheet or CSV file), we import it so you do not start from zero. We check what your current system allows before you commit.
What support do I get?
Support runs 24 hours a day and is included in your monthly fee. You deal directly with the people who built your system, not a call centre.
Do I own my data and my website?
Yes. Your sales records and customer list belong to you, and if we build your website, you own the domain and the code. We charge a monthly fee to host and manage it for you, and if you ever leave, we hand everything over.
Do you only work in Kuala Lumpur?
No. We are based in Kuala Lumpur and work with businesses anywhere in Malaysia. We can set you up remotely, or come to you in person. Travel outside Kuala Lumpur is charged separately.
